LTC. David Reardon
Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) David Reardon served twenty years as an Infantry Officer in the U.S. Army, in various assignments to include the 82nd Airborne Division, 1st Infantry Division, Training and Doctrine Command, and Army Central Command. Before retiring from active duty in 2012, he spent most of the latter third of his career as a war planner for Army and Joint operations in the Middle East. He has been awarded twenty Army and Joint Service commendations for service and achievement including the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star, the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, and the Meritorious Service Medal.
His education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from The Citadel, a Masters in Military Art and Science from the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, and a Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law.
Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) David Reardon has dreamed of being at Oak Ridge Military Academy since first riding his bicycle by the school as a child. Over thirty years later, those dreams became a reality when he became the school’s Senior Army Instructor, responsible for the military and life skills instruction of Cadets. Named President of Oak Ridge Military Academy in November of 2017, he has a passion for the school and the role it plays as a platform for the continuing success of its Cadets.
