Jason Knight joined the Oak Ridge Military Academy Board of Trustees in June 2016. After his 1996 graduation from Elon University, he earned a law degree from Wake Forest University in 1999 and has been a practicing attorney in Greensboro since. Over the past few years Knight began to shift his career focus and, in May 2016, earned a Master of Divinity degree from Campbell University. In 2010, he formed a local ministry in Greensboro called “ARISE”, which feeds members of the local homeless community. Knight is the grandson of Walter “Tee-Pot” Frye, who served Oak Ridge as a coach and Director of Athletics for over 30 years after a longtime professional baseball career. He is married to Amy Queen and they reside in Greensboro.
