The Museum and Archives will be open for tours from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. As you’re exploring the museum and taking a trip down memory lane, don’t forget to sign the guest book. In addition, if you have any old ORMA artifacts that might make a nice addition to the museum, please contact Jim Savage to discuss the donation.
If you consider yourself a history buff, then test your Oak Ridge knowledge with Maj. B’s Trivia Game, held in the Library of Alumni Hall from 11 a.m. until noon. But don’t fall asleep while the game is in session, or Maj. B. is bound to squirt your face with water!
Come lunch time, the fun doesn’t stop. Ghassan’s Food Truck will be on-campus to serve you fresh Mediterranean eats. The Picnic Lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on the lawn of Maple Glade, where you’ll find several picnic tables. Meals will range from $6 to $8 and will be at your own expense, so please have cash or a credit card on hand.
At 2 p.m., make your way over to the parade field to watch the 166th Corps of Cadets at the Pass and Review Parade. After the parade, the formal events will take a break and resume at 6 p.m. in Bonner Field House with the Alumni Recognition Dinner & Social. Dinner tickets cost $45 for singles and $80 for couples. RSVP by Oct. 6th to receive discounted tickets. After Oct. 6th, prices will increase to $50 per person and $90 for couples.
Following the President’s Reception on Friday night and the Alumni Dinner on Saturday, many will venture across the street to one of the neighboring establishments to keep reminiscing.
