The Only Boarding Military Academy in North Carolina | We are the 2nd oldest Military School in the United States of America and the only remaining private military institute in North Carolina. Oak Ridge Military Academy is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). It is a member of the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS), the Southern Association of Independent Schools (SAIS) and the North Carolina Association of Independent Schools (NCAIS). It is also a member of The Association of Military Colleges and Schools of the United States (AMCSUS).
