RECOGNITION

Oak Ridge Military Academy Gift Clubs represent donors who believe so strongly in the academy’s mission that they contribute to the school on an annual basis. They dig deeply – each according to his/her means. This generosity is crucial to maintaining ORMA’s proud tradition of providing outstanding educational opportunities, while providing opportunities for growth in both character and integrity. Tuition paid by ORMA students and their families covers only part of the total educational cost. Gifts and contributions help make quality programs and facilities possible.

The following gift clubs are used to recognize donors: These clubs are effective July 1, 2004. The President’s Club recognizes donors who contribute $1,000 or more, and within this club are two other categories which recognize donors who contribute at a higher level.

The Founders Society: Recognizing gifts of $3,000 or more.
The 1852 Society: Recognizing gifts of $1,852 to $2,999.
The President’s Society: Recognizing gifts of $1,000 to $1,851.
Other giving and recognition levels include:
Sustainer: Recognizes gifts of $500 to $999.
Supporter: Recognizes gifts of $100 to $499.
Donor: Recognizes gifts of $1 to $99.

Matching Gifts

Many companies will match personal employee donations with a corporate contribution. In some cases, corporations will even match the gifts of retired employees. If you make a contribution at one recognition level and your company matches, these two are added together to determine which recognition level you qualify for. This is a great way for you to be recognized at the next giving level. Matching gifts are a wonderful way to amplify your contribution to ORMA and to help your company fulfill its charitable goals. Please contact your company’s human resources department to learn more about its matching gift policy.
