Nathaniel Young, B.A., M.Ed.

Nathaniel Young was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina. After graduating
from high school, he joined the United
States Marine Corps and served for
four years. After receiving his honorable discharge, he attended
Norfolk State University where he received
a Bachelor of Arts degree in education.
He then attended Regent
University in Virginia Beach,
Virginia, where he received a Master’s
Degree in education. Before coming
to ORMA, Mr. Young spent seven years teaching middle school
students in the Guilford County Public
Schools, and he has nine years of teaching
experience. In addition to his teaching duties,
Mr. Young also assists the Commandant’s
Office during the summer months, where
he helps to supervise the dormitories and other aspects
of cadet life. Mr. Young is also very
active in the AAU (Amateur Athletic
Union) program, where he helps to coach
various sports. For the 2007-2008 school year Mr. Young will be
teaching Middle School
Mathematics, Algebra I, and Middle
School P.E./Health.
