Marvin Tendean, B.A.
Math Department
Marvin Tendean is a native of Indonesia. He attended ORMA from 1995 to 1998;
he excelled in Soccer and Tennis and
graduated with the rank of Cadet Major. He holds a bachelor’s
degree in marketing and math
from the University of Houston. Mr. Tendean
returned to Oak Ridge in January of 2006 and served as the Middle
School Mathematics and
PE/Health teacher. In August 2006 he
moved to the high school, where he taught Algebra I and II. For
the 2007-2008 school year Mr. Tendean
will be teaching Algebra II and Functions & Modeling, an advanced math course. Mr. Tendean will also serve as the Head Coach
for the Varisty Boys and Girls Soccer
Teams. He is a tutor in the Homework Assistance Program (HAP). Mr.
Tendean enjoys traveling
and particularly enjoys visiting new
places and attractions in the United States. In his free time Mr.
Tendean enjoys any indoor or
outdoor sports and activities and works
as a part-time wedding, special events and sports photographer.
