LTC Stephen Harrelson, U.S. Army (Retired)

Lieutenant Colonel Stephen Harrelson retired from the U.S. Army after more than
20 years of service to the nation. He
served as an enlisted soldier for three
years, attaining the rank of Specialist
E-5 before completing his service obligation. Upon graduating
from North Carolina A&T State University with a Bachelor of Science degree, he was commissioned as
a Second Lieutenant in the United States
Army. He served in Command (Company level) and staff positions
from Company to Major Army
Command. He
has more than 20 years experience teaching,
mentoring, and coaching his subordinates.
Lieutenant Colonel Harrelson joined
the Oak Ridge family in August 2005 as the Junior Reserve
Officer Training Corps Senior Army
Instructor. LTC Harrelson is also the
supervisor of the ORMA Rifle Team.
