Sue Griffin, B.A., M.A.
Modern Languages Department
Sue Griffin is excited to spend her ninth year at Oak Ridge teaching French and
ESL (English-as-a-Second Language). For the 2007-2008 school year
she will also be teaching two new courses: an introductory course
in the French, Spanish, and German languages to the Middle School,
and a new elective course in International Studies in the high school.
Mrs. Griffin received her B.A. in French and International Studies
from Baldwin-Wallace College in Ohio, her M.A. in French Translation
from Kent State University, and her K-12 teaching licensure from
the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Mrs. Griffin enjoys
working in ORMA’s small classroom setting and engaging her students
in fun, meaningful activities that will help them learn a language
and develop a love of the culture. In her free time Mrs. Griffin
loves hiking and swimming with her husband and son, reading historical
fiction, shopping (always!), and being an ORMA mom.
