Tiffany Green, B.S.
Middle School Principal, Language Arts,
Social Studies
Tiffany Green has taught Language Arts and Social Studies for four years at Oak
Ridge Military Academy. Tiffany earned
a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Carolina
at Greensboro, where she majored
in Middle Grades Education and English
with a concentration in Social Studies and Dance. Tiffany is a
member of Kappa Delta Pi (Education
Honor Society) and Sigma Tau Delta (English
Honor Society) and holds a State of North Carolina Class A teaching
license (highly qualified
status). Prior to coming to ORMA, Tiffany
worked in the Guilford County Public Schools, where she taught
classified “at risk” students.
Tiffany has also been a tutor through
Colin Powell’s Project Potential program for “at risk” students.
Under Ms. Green’s leadership, the
Oak Ridge Middle School nearly tripled
in size during its first year, and more than doubled in size during
its second year. In addition
to her administrative duties, Tiffany
is also a full-time teacher in the middle school. For the 2007-2008
school year she will teach Language Arts, North Carolina History, American History, and Study
Skills. Tiffany spends her “after hours”
time with her two children, Jordan and Presley, and enjoys competitive
Irish Step Dance.
